Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of staff; provides guidance to avoid bank losses and manages tellers to provide exceptional service. Responsible for the efficient, effective management of a branch, ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed.


Duties
Effectively scheduling the branch team, coaching and developing all team members, consistently addressing team/performance issues, and holding team members accountable for the delivery of exceptional service, performance expectations, and operational success.

Lead staff in recognizing opportunity to enhance customer relationship by referring other bank products and services.

Provide management with weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as directed.

Ensure all audit and compliance requirements are being followed.

Completes semi-annual performance evaluations to ensure staff is meeting individual and branch goals.

Provides support and works as Teller or Customer Service Representative when needed.

Maintain professional appearance of branch to ensure a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.

Manage the safety and security of the branch and routinely monitor security systems.

Consistently manage and monitor branch sales to meet and/or exceed quarterly goals.


Qualifications
5-7 years of management, sales, and coaching experience in retail services or banking.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience gauging talent levels, placing the right people into the right jobs, and developing and growing skills of employees through development plans.

Experience managing appropriate risk and making sound decisions.

Experience working in a sales goal-oriented environment.

Successful candidates must have strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated attention to detail.

Ability to effectively respond to customer needs and willing to solicit feedback to improve service.

Exhibit excellent sales skills with a high level of service orientation.

Ability to present information with diplomacy and tact.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications.
