Responsible for property management for all 60 locations in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan including the safe coordination of construction, occupancy, maintenance, and renovation for all facilities. Supervision of mail center with four direct reports, outsourced grounds, outsourced general maintenance, and outsourced custodian services.



  • Coordinate, oversee and/or manage repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work.
  • Facilitate the RFP, request for proposal, process; review competitive bids/estimates from a legal, cost and timely perspective ensuring quality of work, and contract terms are fulfilled in a safe manner.
  • Oversee various design, maintenance and repair projects. Ensure project schedules and deliverables are met in a safe manner with minimal disruption.
  • Manage subcontractors including evaluation, selection, and inspection of work performed.
  • Establish, build, and maintain strong working relationships with leadership, staff, and vendors.
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed including nights weekends and holidays.
  • Work with business units and property landlords to ensure facilities maintenance programs are appropriate to meet bank's business needs.
  • Implement agreed facilities standards, techniques and tracking mechanisms across all facilities to ensure a consistently high standard of delivery. 
  • Manage energy consumption initiatives to ensure efficiencies are continually achieved and that there is regular benchmarking with established local and national standards.
  • Ensure appropriate and consistent reporting of the facilities programs is established and implemented to deliver key data to management on a timely basis. 
  • Prepare, manage, analyze and report facilities and related activities costs and income, as required by management. 
  • Develop and administer the annual expense and capital facilities budget for all property locations.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal customers and vendors; effectively handle customer requests for design changes and additional work, ensure internal customer is informed of cost implications and timeline changes. 
  • Administer tenant leases by ensuring insurance requirements, renewal and termination dates in addition to other specific lease terms are adhered to.
  • Develops and implements cost saving measures.
  • Plans, directs and maintains an effective preventive maintenance program for buildings and associated equipment and systems.
  • Meets with administrators and other officials to consult regarding facility needs, funding, planning, design, feasibility, estimating costs and timing of maintenance, alteration, and capital outlay projects.

  • Seven year's experience in a facilities leadership role with hands on experience, including minimum 3 years in a supervisory capacity or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Architecture, Engineering, Facility Management, Business Administration, or Construction Management degree preferred or equivalent in training and experience.
  • Professional Certification with International Facility Management Association (CFM) or Certified Property Manager, (CPM) preferred. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of facilities management, property management, contract evaluation, safety and security procedures. 
  • Required to be on-call for emergencies and work extended hours to meet business needs.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent understanding of buildings and systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze architectural and engineering drawings and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand property and equipment lease terms.
  • Ability to implement and control facilities management programs and activities while demonstrating fiscal responsibility and a high degree of administrative knowledge.
