JOB OVERVIEW

Manage the various projects, campaigns, promotions and budget within the marketing department of the bank. Report directly to the Senior Marketing Officer while working within a team of marketing specialists. Cultivate and lead a collaborative environment to ensure all elements of traditional, digital and social media are integrated into promoting the company brand, products, services and community involvement.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Represent the Marketing Department as the liaison for marketing initiatives requested within the company while also working directly with ad agency to manage planned campaigns. Ensure strategies are executed timely, effectively and within budget. Assist Senior Marketing Officer with tactical planning and support other team members. Provide advice and marketing strategies for various efforts across the company. Accountable for adherence to compliance standards including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), quality of documentation, and timeliness of marketing initiatives. Actively protect confidentiality of customer and account information. Demonstrate Horizon Bank's commitment to the communities we serve through support of local organizations and events.

DUTIES

• Assist Senior Marketing Officer in the execution of tactical plans that support the banks internal and external marketing initiatives
• Act as liaison for new marketing projects - gathering information from others throughout the company and coordinate promotional plans with marketing team
• Lead marketing department team meetings to ensure collaborative execution of projects and campaigns
• Gather all data and team input in order to recommend how to maximize opportunities to leverage multiple channels – provide expertise and counsel to managers in the company
• Maintain list of marketing projects and delegate duties and resources necessary to ensure timely execution by all members of team
• Ensure projects and promotions meet needs of audience, adhere to brand standards, bank objectives and are most efficient use of budgets and resources
• Manage relationship with advertising agency – managing statements of work and adherence to budget and project execution
• Assist in completion of annual marketing budget, and maintain oversight of monthly reports and projections
• Coordinate and ensure communication of new campaigns, promotions and products to company
• Maintain and manage marketing scheduling software
• Ensure Intranet marketing site contents are up-to-date
• Oversight for maintenance of materials for regulatory audits/compliance
• Ensure all promotions have tracking and result mechanisms and generate recommendations (from team/agency) for improved results

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in a marketing / advertising environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for marketing strategy and how to leverage various tactics for measurable results
• Highly organized with effective project management skills – experience with project management software a plus
• Budget management experience in marketing or media environment preferred
• Interpersonal skill set that reflect a high level of tact, diplomacy and influence
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Creative thinker with attention to detail
• Effective team player that enjoys collaborating with others to accomplish goals
• Strong MS Office skills required
